Richard G. Woods, Senior Vice President
Richard is a senior Human Resources professional who has provided strategic executive leadership and creative innovation to each of the companies where he has served during the past 20 years. His industry experience includes high-tech, non-profit, manufacturing, professional services and government. He has successfully led the Human Resources function for successful start-up organizations and fast growing high-tech companies such as LiquidLight, Inc., Daugherty Systems and M.G. International, Inc.
He most recently served as an Executive Consultant with FINA Corporation, a national Management Consulting firm. In this capacity, Richard provided a wide range of strategic guidance on mission critical HR concerns to industry diverse executive clients throughout the US. Prior to joining FINA Corporation, Richard was the Head of Human Resources for an optical networking telecommunications hardware equipment start-up.
What distinguishes Richard's approach to HR leadership is his ability to identify and understand corporate business objectives and translate them into innovative HR initiatives. This approach has enabled organizations to effectively align strategic plans and human assets.
Richard earned his B.A. degree from the University of Kentucky. He is a certified Behavioral Interviewing trainer, an active member of SHRM and an honorably discharged Veteran.
