Gene Caudle, SPHR, Senior Vice President
Gene Caudle has over 30 years Human Resources leadership experiences with several Fortune 500 organizations well known for their leading edge HR programs and "best practice" processes. His experience, across multiple industries, includes: warehouse/distribution with one of the top 10 companies in the 3PL - supply chain industry, consumer products, tier one automotive products, insurance, commodity trading and major construction.
As the Sr. HR leader for AmeriCold Logistics, Universal Furniture, AO Smith - Tower Automotive, and FMC Corporation; Gene helped reengineer the human resources functions, outsourcing functions with substantial cost savings and making the HR organization an active business partner with the leadership team to ensure overall business success. Specifically while with AmeriCold Logistics he implemented the PeopleSoft HRIS and SuccessFactors performance management system, substantially improving overall employee performance. With significant international experience as VP HR of Universal Furniture, world's largest manufacturer of bedroom, dining room and occasional furniture; AO Smith - Tower Automotive, major tier one manufacturer of automotive components for the Big 3 and major international automotive companies; Gene has managed international HR with facilities in Europe, England, Southeast Asia and China.
As a career member of the Society of Human Resources Management, Gene holds the highest level of professional certification - Life certified Senior Professional of Human Resources, (SPHR). He is a chapter founder and former president of the Golden Triangle SHRM chapter and has held numerous offices in various SHRM chapters including attending the first SHRM leadership conference. He also maintains professional memberships in the American Society of Training and Development, American Management Association, American Society of Safety Engineers, and the Conference Board.
Gene is a certified trainer and executive coach with an MBA from Mississippi State University and undergraduate degree from Memphis State University (BBA). Gene has supplemented his formal education with various training certifications in positive guidance counseling, lean/six sigma transformations; values based leadership development, team building, performance management, change management, and project management. He has lead organizations in the structured transformation into Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
